Streaming giant launches ‘Netflix House’ with free admission in Philadelphia

12 Nov – Netflix has officially entered the theme park industry with the opening of Netflix House on Wednesday at King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania. The 100,000-square-foot entertainment venue marks the streaming platform’s first permanent location, positioning itself as a competitor to entertainment giants Disney and Universal Studios.

After years of successful pop-up experiences, Netflix is making a major investment into physical entertainment spaces. The venue offers free admission, though individual experiences are ticketed between $15-$39 each.

Expansion Plans

Following Philadelphia’s launch, Netflix will open a Dallas, Texas location on December 11, with a Las Vegas Strip venue planned for 2027. Currently, there are no confirmed international locations.

With Asia’s massive and passionate fanbase for shows like Squid Game, KPop Demon Hunters, and other Netflix originals, fans across the region will be hoping the streaming giant brings this immersive experience to Asia in the coming years.
