Yeo Jin-goo has recently written a heartfelt letter to his fans ahead of his military enlistment.
Sharing the letter to his fans at his 20th anniversary fan meeting tour, “Blank Space”, the actor expressed his gratitude to fans for their support over the years and expressed his hope for a more mature return.
“I will be leaving everyone for a while to experience something new. Being able to meet everyone face to face and laugh together on this last Asian tour before enlisting will become a precious memory for me,” he wrote.
He continued, “Thanks to the overwhelming love and support you have given me. I can feel that passion and keep moving forward tirelessly. Although I have to be apart from you for a while, I will work hard to become a stronger and more mature person. When I return, I will definitely stand before you again with a healthier body and mind and even more superb acting skills.”
Yeo also said that every time fans miss him, they can revisit his 30 TV dramas, 20 movies, and several variety shows that he has been a part of.
The actor will be holding his last fan meet in Seoul on 1 November after which he will be enlisting.
