Maggie Cheung has finally decided to have her own social media account, and the platform of her choice is Xiaohongshu (aka Red Note).
The 60-year-old Hong Kong darling, who rarely made public appearances in recent years, announced on 8 August that she is now on the said social media platform and posted her first video; of her leisurely walking through a bamboo forest.
“Life is a garden. Come, have a seat. In this garden of life, we walk together. Whether the road is smooth or rough, let’s share the scenery of this journey together,” she expressed.
As to why she decided to start her own Red Note account, Maggie said that she felt like it was the perfect time for her to do so.
“Timing is very personal. When you feel like it’s the right moment, then it is,” she said.
Maggie also revealed that she will be sharing various new things on her account, including “new things, fun things, useful things, beautiful things, meaningful things, things worth learning, things worth mentioning… everything.”
