Alex Fong recently announced that he and wife Maple Yip are welcoming a daughter soon.
The singer shared the good news during his concert in Foshan, where he played a video of him and Maple having a conversation about the gender of their baby while the screen showed an ultrasound of the foetus.
“To be honest, to this day, I am still unsure if it’s really a daughter. So, at the end of this month, I will accompany my wife to get an anatomical scan to see if there is anything protruding,” he joked.
Alex said that he will reconfirm the news with fans again next time and share the name they picked for their baby.
Asked what difference does it make to have a son or a daughter, Alex laughed and said that his son will be under pressure because he will force his son to become a swimmer like him.
However, he will be the one under pressure if it’s a daughter, as he will need to be fitter and live longer to protect her.
