Good news to all you aspiring young performers, as Japan’s globally popular girl group AKB48 is searching for new members to be part of its Kuala Lumpur-based sister group KLP48!
Shoot your shot at the KLP48 2nd Generation Audition – “BLOOM” in Malaysia, which comes on the heels of the group’s stellar rise a year into their debut as their popularity transcends Malaysia and beyond, including in Japan where members have been invited to perform.
Open to females aged between 13 and 23 of all nationalities, applications are being accepted from 1 July until 1 August. Interested applicants who meet the requirements have to submit a maximum 90-second video of them singing and/or dancing at klp48audition.com along with their details and other requested materials.
Shortlisted candidates will then be notified to attend an on-site screening in Kuala Lumpur on 23 & 24 August. Those who passed the screening will proceed to the final audition on 6 and 7 September.
