Sun Li seemed to be indirectly denying rumours that she and her family have moved to the UK.
On 7 June, the actress took to Weibo to celebrate her 15th wedding anniversary with actor husband Deng Chao, where she expressed her thoughts on their marriage.
Saying that Deng gave her a pair of rackets for their anniversary this year, Sun stated that their lives are becoming more and more ordinary each year, from sending their children to school to taking a walk and drinking coffee together, to taking turns to care for the family while the other had to work.
She then revealed that she and Deng Chao recently talked about life, death and the future, saying that they never shy away from discussing such issues.
“That day he talked about our old age. He said that he likes Shanghai very much, and likes our little home in Shanghai very much. We want to grow old together here,” she posted.
Many took that particular line to be her way of denying rumours of them leaving the country. It was last week that rumours circulated that Sun and Deng have moved to Kensington and registered their kids to study in the UK.
