Amid the many controversies surrounding them as a couple, Wang Xiaofei’s wife Mandy recently took to social media to wish the entrepreneur a happy birthday.
On 27 June, which marks Wang’s 44th birthday, the Taiwanese socialite posted several never-before-seen photos from their wedding, and wrote, “Thank you for giving me a nourishing relationship. Only those on the same wavelength truly understand your struggles. Mutual understanding, mutual growth.”
“Happy birthday, my husband,” she added.
The photos include one where they cut their giant white cake, one where they held hands as the flower girls scattered petals around them, as well as several photos that were a part of their prenuptial shoot.
The couple, who registered their marriage last year, finally held their wedding on 17 May after postponing it previously to show respect for the passing of Wang’s ex-wife, Barbie Hsu.
Their wedding attracted attention as it was held at the Junwangfu Mansion Hotel, a 400-year-old Beijing mansion known to be a venue of prestige.
However, prior to the wedding, Mandy’s ex-husband started sharing cryptic messages seemingly to hint about Mandy’s past infidelity.
