It was revealed that Astro’s JinJin has been exempted from enlisting in the military.
The news was announced by his agency, Fantagio on 2 June, stating, “Jinjin has been judged unfit for military service by the Military Manpower Administration due to autoimmune disease results from a precise physical examination, and as a result, has received military exemption.”
The agency said that while JinJin’s condition does not interfere with his daily life, the singer needs regular visits to the hospital and ongoing treatment management.
The agency added, “We will prioritise the artist’s health and continue activities.”
Prior to news of JinJin’s exemption, the agency announced that member Cha Eun-woo will be entering his military service on 28 July.
