Jeffrey Ngai’s camp assured that everything is well with the actor, who recently caused concern over his shooting mishap.
On 3 May, the actor shared a photo on Instagram showing him receiving treatment while lying down on a boat. In another video, Jeffrey is shown with a long reddening wound that circulates his neck from front to back as he received treatment at a medical facility.
“A blessing in disguise,” he posted. “Thank you, God. The moment I was injured, my mind went blank. Thank you for the care from the crew.”
His management later posted an update about the actor, writing, “Jeffrey accidentally sustained an injury today (3 May) during filming. After receiving attentive care and treatment from the production team and medical staff, he is now in stable condition and has returned home to rest. Thank you all for your concern and well wishes!”
No information, however, has been released regarding the cause of the injury.
Subsequently, many fans and friends alike took to the comments to wish Jeffrey well, including Stephy Tang, Kearen Pang and Sammi Cheng, the latter who posted, “Rest well. Take care. Pray to the Father to keep you healing.”
