Four years after he went viral for trying to get himself eliminated throughout his time on the Chinese reality show, “Produce Camp 2021”, Russian singer Lelush finally got what he wanted – finally quitting showbiz for good.
The singer, who announced back in December last year that he will be retiring from the industry on 1 April 2025, recently accepted an interview with the media and thanked everyone for their support.
Lelush, real name Vladislav Igorevich Sidorov, admitted that he has no regrets about this decision, and that he had never considered being an artiste as a long-term career.

“I no longer belong to the entertainment industry in my heart, but I still have to continue to participate in activities. Sometimes when I am at the airport and some fans come to pick me up, I would think, ‘Why are you still looking for me?'” he said.
The singer admitted that his career in showbiz was nothing more than “an accident”, adding, “Though I’ve adapted to the life of being photographed, this identity, including the lifestyle, is still not what I want.”
Asked why he chose to officially announce his retirement, Lelush responded, “If I hadn’t said it, everyone might think that I hadn’t retired and would continue to ask about my next schedule.”
He added that he also decided to do so as a way to greet his fans for the last time so that there’s no need for anybody to bring up the topic again in the future.
