It looks like it’s another Taylor Swift situation as it was announced that Lady Gaga will be performing in Singapore for four days as part of her concert tour.
And Singapore will be the only stop she has for Asia.
The singer shared the news on social media on 10 March, writing, “MAYHEM Singapura! Singapore. National Stadium. May 18, 19, 21, 24.”
Ticket presales will begin on 18 March, with 21 March being the start of the general sale.
Lady Gaga was last seen performing in a concert in Singapore in 2012 for her “Born This Way” tour. The singer recently released her seventh studio album, “Mayhem”.
Prior to Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift also performed only in Singapore for her Southeast Asian leg of her “The Eras tour”, and held six sold-out concerts in the country. It was later revealed that the deal was negotiated between the country and the singer’s team. The move sparked anger among other Southeast Asian countries, accusing Singapore of operating by “the law of the jungle”.
