Ariel Tsai recently surprised many by announcing that she is now engaged to be married.
The surprise came at the press conference announcing her new song, “Canon in Love” on 8 March, which she held inside a gym.
When asked the peculiarity of the venue, she responded, “This gym has a special meaning to me because I met my current fiancé, ‘Mr. J’, here. In fact, I didn’t have much idea about fitness before, but later I started to get involved in sports and found that my body and mind became healthier, and it also filled me with positive energy.”
She then revealed that Mr. J has proposed to her back in January, and recalled the event. She said that her friends lured her to a park “to take photos” before Mr. J appeared with a bouquet of flowers.
“Then he proposed to me. It felt so dreamy. He also invited our good friends to witness it. I feel very happy every time I talk about this. I like to share the happy news with everyone,” she added.
Speaking about the music video for her new song, Ariel said that it was a record of her real life, which she wanted to share with everybody.
When asked about her wedding plans, Ariel admitted that they have been discussing it, and that she hopes it will be this year.
“When there is a definite time, I will share it with everyone then,” she enthused.
