Ariel Lin recently revealed that she took the proactive step of preparing her written will back when she was in her early 20s and has updated it not too long ago.
The talented singer-actress, who recently participated in the variety show “Little Sun Market,” made this important decision during a time when she was frequently filming costume dramas that required her to perform wire work and be suspended four to five stories high.
“I thought that it was not good. There were things that I didn’t say or explain well, so I thought I should write them down,” she shared.
While her initial will focus solely on the distribution of her assets, she has now creatively titled it “distribution of love.” In this updated version, she includes her words of appreciation, expressions of gratitude, and thoughtful suggestions, especially guidance for her child’s future.
“Then I felt that the book could be supplemented with some photo albums, or I could add some USBs to it. It is still just texts, but I want to add photos and videos to make it a memory full of love,” she explained, noting that her will encompasses not just her family but also her friends and agent.

When asked if she feels more at ease having written her will, Ariel reflected that the process has illuminated what other actions she could take or may have yet to accomplish. “Since you can’t do it again, if you haven’t done anything yet, you should do it quickly,” she emphasised. The actress, who welcomed her daughter in October 2021, underscores the importance of preparing for the future while cherishing lasting memories.
