The Michael Hui and Dayo Wong film, “The Last Dance” continues to gain success in Malaysia as it exceeds RM15 million at the box office now in its sixth week.
The film, which marks the second collaboration between Michael and Dayo after “The Magic Touch” in 1992, is directed by Anselm Chan, who came up with the idea after experiencing the death of his grandmother.
The new achievement came after the film made RM 10 million at the Malaysian box office after 18 days of release. Anselm also came to Malaysia to thank the audience, alongside lead actress Michelle Wai.
Meanwhile, the movie has now made HKD 140 million at the Hong Kong box office, remaining the highest grossing Hong Kong film in 2024 as well as of all time.
