Bowie Tsang recently assured that all is well between her and her father, Eric Tsang, after netizens expressed their sympathy towards her over his recent remark on an episode of his variety show.
As reported on Oriental Daily, Eric found himself getting slammed by netizens recently following the latest episode of the food variety show, “The King of Night Market” where Bowie appeared as a guest judge.
When the Taiwanese TV personality made a comment on the food and mentioned that “some sauces are redundant”, Eric responded with a quip that “The most redundant thing is you coming to this Earth.”
Many expressed shock over Eric saying such a thing about his own daughter, with many claiming that the TVB producer is disrespecting his own child.
Sharing a photo of her and Eric together, Bowie said that she has received lots of messages after the episode was broadcasted, and that there have been mixed reactions even among her friends.
“Some people understood that it was the effect of the show and laughed out loud, and some friends felt sorry for me and patted me on the head. I don’t have that hole in my heart now, so I didn’t feel anything when I heard it. Don’t worry,” she wrote.
Stressing that she does not doubt her father’s love for her, even if he doesn’t say it clearly, she added, “Thank you, everyone. I know you guys really love me.”
