As the scandal of his love child continues to make headlines, it was reported that Jung Woo-sung is now reconsidering plans to attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
As reported on Korea Times, his agency Artist Company confirmed this piece of news, saying that the actor may not participate in the awards, which will be held on 29 November.
Jung is nominated in the Best Actor category at the awards for his performance in “12.12: The Day”.
It was earlier this week that Jung admitted to be the father of a child birthed by model Moon Ga-bi – the latter who decided to announce motherhood on social media on 23 November.
Meanwhile, a new report has surfaced that Jung has actually been in a relationship with a non-celebrity for over a year now, and that the said woman only found out about his baby with model Moon Ga-bi through the media like everybody else.
When asked about it, his agency expressed, “We ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm matters related to the actor’s personal life, and we ask to refrain from excessive speculation.”
