It seems that 2025 is going to be Hera Chan’s year, as the Miss Hong Kong 2018 will be playing the lead in three of four new dramas to be aired next year.

The actress, who spoke to the media as she promoted her new drama, “Rosy Business 4: No Return”, said that she feels very lucky to be getting a lot of opportunities.

“I do feel that being a lead actress is stressful because everyone is watching. So, I often put a lot of pressure on myself, hoping to set a good example,” she said.

Hera also said that she saw Wayne Lai and Nancy Wu, her two co-stars in the said drama, as great role models for her.

“Looking at them, I know that I have to work hard. A competent protagonist has to take care of many things. I have tried very hard to continue to improve, but even that doesn’t feel good enough. I hope to catch up with the progress of my predecessors as quickly as possible,” she said.

As for her romance rumour with Brian Chu, Hera said that being able to star in a drama is hard enough that she hopes people focus more on her career and her drama rather than her personal life.

“I promised myself that I would not say anything unless they are big changes in my life, such as marriage, birth, separation, or something very important. So, I won’t talk about dating, because it’s not a big change,” she said.
