Ariel Lin recently bested other worthy contenders to win Best Lead Actress at the Busan Asia Content Awards and Global OTT Awards.
The Taiwanese actress was named the winner of the category for her performance in the PTS Taiwan series, “Imperfect Us”, and expressed in her speech, “I am very happy and honoured to receive this award. This is a great affirmation for myself and my team, and it gives us great strength.”
“I sincerely believe that a good script can make the audience feel understood and enlightened, and make people understand what is really important. Thank you again for giving us such a wonderful night!” she added.
This is the first international win for the 41-year-old, who defeated other nominees that include Park Bo-young (“Daily Dose of Sunshine”), Dian Sastrowardoyo (“Cigarette Girl”), and Zhou Xun (“Imperfect Victim”).
