It looks like Taeil isn’t just losing his career, he is losing his friends as well.
It was reported that several members of NCT have now unfollowed the singer on social media, immediately after SM Entertainment announced that Taeil has been removed from the group following investigations into his sex-related crime.
Member Taeyong was reportedly first to do so after both NCT and NCT 127 unfollowed the singer, removing photos of him with Taeil as well.
Doyoung was the second person to do so, followed by Haechan, Mark and Johnny. Meanwhile, Jungwoo has decided to unfollow everybody.
It was on 28 August that SM Entertainment announced that Taeil has been mired in a sex crime case that was first reported by a woman said to be the victim back in June.
They stated, “We have decided, taking the gravity of the case, that he cannot continue his team activities. He has decided to leave the [NCT] team after talks with the company.”
The company also added that Taeil is now undergoing police investigation.
