David Beckham had Malaysian fans jumping for joy when he posted a photo of him with the background view of the KLCC to announce that he has arrived in Malaysia.
On 31 January, the former Manchester United footballer shared the photo on Instagram, and wrote, “I mean… wow… what a view, what a city.”
Fans include Malaysian celebrities Hairul Azreen, Fify Azmi, and Beto Kusyairy also took to the comments, with the latter jokingly posted, “Sorry, Dave. I had a meeting when you said you wanted to come to the house. You didn’t notify me earlier…”
Beckham is set to appear at The Exchange TRX on 1 February at 6pm to officiate the “World of the Predator Exhibition” for sportswear giant Adidas at the new shopping mall.
Prior to Malaysia, the star shared a video of him in Bangkok for another Adidas event.
Following Beckham, K-pop star Kim Se-jeong will also be making a special appearance at the boutique mall on 3 February.
