Here’s good news for horror auteur Junji Ito fans everywhere: The Junji Ito Horror House is coming to Malaysia.

The exhibition is set to be held from 28 September to 30 November at LaLaport BBCC. Yes, the same mall built over Pudu Jail will be hosting the horror exhibition (spooky!).

The “Junji Ito Horror House” uses Junji Ito’s unique and treacherous world to create an immersive experience in all aspects, creating a terrifying experience. Accept the challenge of going through both the halls or test your courage with just one hall, but experience the spread and engulfment of inner fear by entering the horror house to feel the panic of darkness, rising heartbeats and gutless screams!

Immerse yourself in the maniacal terror within the halls and embrace the chilling unknown of Junji Ito’s world.

The exhibition will open from 12 to 10 pm, Monday to Sunday, with tickets ranging from RM39, RM49, RM69 and RM79 on weekdays, and RM49, RM59, RM79, and RM89 on the weekends.

Those who come as a group can also get the bundle deal, which is RM249 for four, and RM498 for a private group of eight.

Junji Ito, to those not in the know, is a renowned Japanese horror comic artist known for iconic stories like “Uzumaki”, “Tomie”, and “Gyo”, as well as short stories like “Hanging Blimp” and “The Enigma of Amigara Fault”.
