It was an exciting reunion for fans of the Hong Kong film heyday, even if it’s only in photos, as three of the biggest actresses – Carina Lau, Michelle Yeoh, and Brigitte Lin were seen together at the Cartier exhibition recently.
On 13 April, the Oscar-winning Malaysian actress posted several photos of her at the “Cartier and Women” Special Exhibition, which debuts on 14 April at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
While she posted several photos of her visit to the venue, it was the last photo that had everybody’s attention, as the actress shared a picture with two of ’80s and ’90s movie legends Carina Lau and Brigitte Lin.
Joining the three stars in the photo is billionaire businesswoman Pansy Ho, daughter of the late casino tycoon Stanley Ho.
Fans who saw the photos couldn’t help but reminisce about the old days, with many praising the stars for ageing gracefully.
“Miss watching all the HK films from the ’80s,” said one netizen.
“Living legends,” said another.
