Netflix really had a bad time last month, as it was revealed that “The Crown” was not the only production under its banner that experienced a robbery in February.

It was recently revealed that on 25 February, a day after “The Crown” heist was reported, a similar robbery took place on the set of its hit French series, “Lupin”, a show ironically about a thief.

However, unlike the ones on the set of “The Crown”, the robbers in this case were more aggressive, with 20 thieves throwing mortar fireworks as distraction before stealing nearly US$330,000 worth of equipment from the set and surrounding production trailers.

Yup, it’s pretty ironic

A source from Netflix assured that all the cast and crew are safe and that production is still undergoing despite the incident.

The streamer also stressed that the stolen items will not heavily affect the production of the Omar Sy-starrer and that the police have already been notified and began investigations.
