Chinese businessman and Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband Wang Xiaofei has recently denied rumours that he had cheated on the actress prior to their divorce.
As reported on Sina, on 18 December, rumours were rife that Wang had been seeing 25-year-old social media influencer and actress Zhang Yingying, and that they supposedly have been living together.
Netizens also tried to piece the puzzle, with photos circulating the internet of Wang and Zhang wearing similar looking bracelets, going to the same bar in June, as well as several other locations that looked similar in their respective photos.
In response to the rumour, Wang released a statement saying that it was nothing but a deliberate slander. He later issued a statement from his lawyer, which stressed that Wang has never done any of the things accused against him by netizens, and that he has the right to take legal action against the spreading of false information.
As for Barbie, the actress’ only response to the rumour was that it’s all in the past.
“I cherish the moments. Thank you to everybody who is concerned about me,” she expressed.
