While her ex-boyfriend Derek Ramsay seemed to have moved on pretty fast with future wife Ellen Adarna, Andrea Torres recently revealed that she is starting to have a dating life again.
The actress, who has begun promoting her new series, “BetCin”, stated that the enhanced community quarantine has made it a little challenging for her to put herself out there, but now she is ready.
“Now that the ECQ has ended, maybe I’ll get to it again,” she said, stressing that she is open to meeting other people.
Asked how she was able to cope with her failed past relationship, Andrea said that not acting immediately when she was emotional really helps.
“That’s the one thing my parents taught me. If you’re too angry, if you hurt too much, sometimes even if you are too happy, don’t act first,” she said. “It’s like, let everybody calm down first, and then you can decide well.”
Despite the breakup with Derek, Andrea said that she still believes in fairy tales, adding, “Yes, he is out there. He will come.”
As to Derek’s upcoming wedding with Ellen, Andrea said that she has nothing to say about it.
“I feel like I am in no position to speak because after what happened, I have separated myself from his life. So that’s it. I just don’t want to comment,” she said.
It is noted that Andrea and Derek ended their romance in November last year after over a year of relationship. The actor announced his new relationship with Ellen not three months later, and got engaged with the actress the month after.
