Rihanna is officially a billionaire at 33.
In an article released by Forbes, it was revealed that the “Umbrella” singer is now worth USD 1.7 billion – though her achievements did not exactly come from her singing career.
Rihanna, who launched her cosmetic company Fenty Beauty in 2017, made a bulk of her fortune through the said company – estimated at USD 1.4 billion, as well as her lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty, which is worth USD 270 million.
The rest comes from her career as a musician and actress.
Rihanna is now only the second female entertainer to become a billionaire after Oprah Winfrey, and also the wealthiest female musician in the world.
Does this mean fans will have to wait just a little longer for Riri to release a new album after 2016’s “Anti”? Probably?
