Gabriel Luna has been cast in the upcoming HBO series, “The Last of Us”.
The actor, known for his role as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider in “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, will be playing the role of Tommy, former soldier and younger brother of lead character Joel Miller.
Luna will be joining lead actors Pedro Pascal, who will play Joel; and Bella Ramsay, who will be playing the character of Ellie.
He also confirmed his involvement on social media, writing, “Proud to join Craig Mazin, [Neil Druckmann], Carolyn Strauss and the folks at [HBO] on The Last of Us. I have so much love for the work done by [Pedro Pascal] and [Bella Ramsey] and I’m excited to go on this adventure with them as Tommy.”

“The Last of Us”, which is adapted from the breakout PlayStation game of the same name, centres on the relationship between middle-aged smuggler Joel and 14 year-old Ellie, the teenage girl he escorts across a post-apocalyptic United States.
The upcoming series is currently being written by Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”) and “The Last of Us” original writer, Neil Druckman.
Luna’s last acting project was the 2019’s “Terminator: Dark Fate”. Meanwhile, both Pascal and Ramsey became a household name through HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, playing Oberyn Martell and Lyanna Mormont, respectively.
