After much speculations, celebrity entrepreneur Neelofa and Islamic preacher Haris Ismail (also known as PU Riz) have finally tied the knot.

The nikah ceremony, which has the theme of Jabal Rahmah (one of the few locations of the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca), was held in the morning of 27 March at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, with the attendance of around 200 people consisting of only family members and close friends.

Guests were also required to wear all white to the event.

An hour prior to the ceremony, Neelofa hinted of her wedding with a picturesque view of the KLCC and her getting her fingers painted with henna.

Rumours of Neelofa and PU Rizz’s engagement sparked back in late October, and was confirmed by the actress’ mother in early November. The couple made headlines yet again in December, with rumours saying that there were issues between the two of them that could jeopardise their engagement.

Neelofa had since came forward to resolve the issue, saying that they were working on their relationship.

Prior to Neelofa’s wedding, it was her sister Noor Nabila who surprised many by tying the knot with businessman and Erra Fazira’s former husband, Engku Emran.
