Rockaway Festival, touted as Malaysia’s largest rock festival, has also decided to postpone its shows due to the recent outbreak of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).
The announcement was posted on the festival’s social media, stating that the 2-day festival will be rescheduled to later this year.
Rockaway Festival 2020 was originally scheduled to be held on 14 and 15 March at Stadium Bukit Jalil, Carpark B.
“This decision to postpone Rockaway Fest 2020 was made in the interest of taking preventive measures to curb and contain the escalating coronavirus outbreak,” the post stated, adding that the organisers are in constant communication with relevant authorities regarding the matter.
New dates for the festival will be announced soon.
