This November, Malaysia will play host to the first ever world championship tournament of the multiplayer online battle arena mobile game, “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB)”, called “MLBB World Championship 2019 (M1)”.
“We are so excited to be hosting the very first World Championship tournament for “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang”. It has always been our aim to elevate the game to greater heights and so the commemoration of “MLBB World Championship 2019 (M1)” is definitely a proud achievement for us,” said Cherry Xia, Vice President at Shanghai Moonton Technology (the developer and publisher of MLBB), in a press statement.
To be held at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, the tournament will be split into the following two categories:
1. Group Stage: 11 – 14 November 2019 (Monday – Thursday)
2. M1 Grand Finals: 15 – 17 November 2019 (Friday – Sunday)
16 professional MLBB teams from 14 nations will battle it out for the lion’s share of the USD250,000 total prize pool.
The 16 teams will consist of 8 direct-invited teams and 8 qualified teams:
1. 8 direct-invited teams via Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Myanmar
2. 8 qualified teams via M1 Qualifiers in Brazil, Cambodia, Japan, Thailand and Laos, Russia, Turkey, Vietnam and the USA

3 types of tickets are available for the M1 Grand Finals: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Tickets sales have begun via http://m1.mobilelegends.com/MLBB/Ticket with 3-Day passes and 1-Day passes available.
The 3-Day passes come with MLBB in-game items and the Gold ticket includes an exclusive M1 goodie bag. All tickets are free seating and all ticketholders will get to participate in the lucky draw during the event.
