Raquel Xu recently revealed that she and Terence Yin have already held their wedding ceremony after months of planning.

The model-actress took to social media to share the news, revealing on 23 March that they are now preparing for the thank you banquet that they promised their fans.

“This year, we’ll hold one at my hometown. It will be a mini-concert by Terrence, inviting only our true fans to have a meal, listen to music, and have a relaxed and lively get-together. Many netizens said our reunion was related to their matchmaking efforts, and we are very grateful,” she posted.

Raquel added that they will also hold another fan-only thank you event in another city, where they will offer free meals and music to everyone who has supported them along the way.

Terence and Raquel’s relationship has been tumultuous since they went public in 2018. They announced their breakup in 2022, dramatically reconciled the following year, and got engaged in 2024. However, their wedding date was repeatedly delayed, with disagreements even arising over the location.

Finally, the couple decided to hold their wedding on 26 February of this year in the actress’ hometown of Harbin.

The choice of wardrobe sparked speculations that she is with a baby, especially after Terence was also seen rubbing and touching her belly from time to time. She was also trying to cover her abdomen and was noticeably slow as she walked down the stairs.

It was also reported that Raquel has stopped updating her fitness activities in December 2025. Her figure is also noticeably fuller, and her clothing style shifted to a looser fit.

The model, who has been together with Terence since 2018, had previously stated that she would openly announce her pregnancy to everyone if such an event in her life happens.

The actor revealed that piece of news in a comment section of his post, after sharing a video of him buying a gift and some food for Raquel for the Chinese Valentine’s Day, writing, “It’s a joy of life that President Xu (referring to Raquel) wants me to arrange things. Happy Qixi festival!”

Netizens then asked in the comments section about his and Raquel’s plan to tie the knot, which Terence then replied, “Within the year! Thanks for caring!”

He also revealed that the wedding will be held in Hangzhou. Meanwhile, Raquel revealed in a video that their wedding will be somewhere between Hangzhou and Harbin.

Netizens are scratching their heads after Terence Yin suddenly went on a Weibo rant about partner, Raquel Xu, which prompted the Chinese actress to respond to the issue.

The whole hoopla sparked after the Hong Kong actor posted a series of Weibo rants saying that Raquel had asked him to post less about her on Weibo.

“You won’t go store-hopping with me! You won’t let me post about you on Weibo! You won’t appear in my livestream! She said it’s because she hopes more girls will like my films and shows… But what I truly want is for you to like both my work and me! Your love and support are all I need!” he expressed.

In another post, he wrote, “Why is it that expressing love for your partner normally on Weibo is considered clingy? Is the Internet only for posting personal promotions and official content? Where is the sincerity? Where is the purity? It’s becoming meaningless.”

In response to questions regarding Terence’s posts, Raquel took to her own social media account and said that she just wants to focus on developing her own content rather than appear in his livestreams or be seen in his store-visiting videos.

“My content can include him, but I hope his content includes less of me because I want to save more of my time for personal growth, and I hope he does the same for himself. I’m not some over-the-top romantic heroine. I’m just an efficient, down-to-earth girl next door,” she said.

Actress Raquel Xu (Xu Dongdong) recently confessed that she is trying to slowly transition into behind-the-scenes work.

The model-actress shared as much via Weibo on 6 October, saying that she plans to do more things that she is interested in after gaining more experience and understanding herself.

“Several companies have invited me to be (content director or agent director) and I am considering it. Some invited me to create advertising slogans… and some invited me to create live broadcast rooms. What I want to say is that you must have the premise of creating many things. Raquel Xu is threatening legal action against those who have been spreading old photos of her that she posed for in the past for a menswear magazine.

As reported on Sohu, the actress recently took to Weibo to express her frustration over the circulation of her old racy photos, saying that some of the photos that have been circulating weren’t even published by the publication nor shared by her before.

“Some of the photos with watermarks sent by some bloggers were officially released at the time of the magazine shoot. I authorised it and I thank you for your attention. But who sold you the photos that were leaked during the shooting or were not officially published in the magazine without watermarks?” she asked.

In another post, Raquel said that she will be using the unauthorised photos as evidence for legal action.

The actress also stressed that she was not ashamed of the racy photos she had taken when she was younger, but that people should not be taking advantage of her by selling them for profit.

Raquel Xu has dismissed rumours that she is now pregnant with fiancé Terence Yin’s child.

The Chinese actress recently took to Weibo to deny the reports, adding that she still has some work to be completed this year and has no time for pregnancy.

“If I have any plans in the future, I will tell everyone. If I am pregnant in the future, it would be a good thing. I would never hide it,” she added.

As for her marriage with Terence, Raquel said that they will be registering it in Harbin around August to October, and that the wedding banquet will be held in the same city in the first half of 2025.

Meanwhile, Terence also reposted the message and added, “Love you, Ms. Xu. Looking forward to our Harbin banquet next year. Enjoying every day with you.”

It looks like Hong Kong actor Terence Yin’s wish of reconciling with ex-girlfriend Raquel Xu has finally come true.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the mainland actress-singer recently posted a photo on Weibo of two hands intertwining, writing, “We will try to walk together again and treat each other sincerely. Thank you, everyone.”

She also tagged Terence in the post. The actor later reposted it with an added heart emoji.

It is noted that Terence expressed on social media late last year that he still has feelings for the actress, after they broke up in 2019 following eight months of relationship.

He stated that, “I have known her for eight years, and although she is very self-reliant, I always think that she is the one I want to protect.”

Raquel later responded that the reason they broke up before was because Terence didn’t want to get married.
