Masaki Aiba is now officially a father.

On 23 October, his agency Johnny & Associates relayed Masaki’s announcement, saying, “My first child, a son, has been born recently. I am happy with the new addition to my family and grateful that the birth went well.”

Masaki is only the second ARASHI member to become a father after Kazunari Ninomiya, who welcomed his first daughter in March last year.

The singer tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend in September last year, which made headlines as it also coincided with fellow member Sho Sakurai’s marriage announcement.

Congratulations to the couple.

Masaki Aiba will be welcoming a baby soon.

As reported on Singtao, his agency Johnny & Associates confirmed the good news recently, saying, “The pregnancy is a fact.”

The statement came after some fans stated that they saw the singer and his wife in Hawaii, with the latter appearing to be showing signs of pregnancy.

Masaki is only the second member of ARASHI to become a father following Kazunari Ninomiya, who welcomed a baby girl in March last year.

The singer tied the knot with wife, whose name has never been shared, in September last year after ten years of dating.

Two more ARASHI band members have broken fans’ hearts everywhere by announcing their marriage simultaneously.

Not to each other, of course.

Sho Sakurai and Masaki Aiba recently released their individual statements on social media, with Sho revealing that he has recently tied the knot.

“Thanks to everybody’s support, including my fans and everybody involved, that I was able to continue on with my activities until today. Thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he said.

On the other hand, 38 year-old Masaki wrote, “I apologise about this private matter but I will be getting married. Although the situation will change, I am given the space to do my best and that is all thanks to my fans and everybody who supported me every day.”

A representative of ARASHI’s agency, Johnny & Associates stated that both Sho and Masaki’s wives are not a part of showbiz.

They are the second and third members to get married following Kazunari Ninomiya, who got married in 2019 and became a father earlier this year.

Three down, two to go. Looking at you Satoshi Ohno and Jun Matsumoto!
