Shan Yichun has recently taken to social media to apologise to Li Ronghao, after she decided to perform his song, “Li Bai” at her concert without permission.

The whole issue sparked after Li took to social media to blast the singer for still covering the song at her show in Shenzhen, despite the fact that Li’s team has rejected her request to cover the song via email.

In the long post, Li questioned the other party’s motives for this action, stating that he no longer wanted to use “company arrangement, lack of knowledge” as an explanation, nor did he agree with using tears during the performance to gain sympathy. He believed that since they chose to perform without authorisation, they should face the consequences with the same attitude.

In response to Li’s statement, Shan took to social media to apologise, writing, “As a fellow creator, I understand how Mr. Li feels right now, and first of all, I’m very sorry. I will work with my team to clarify the situation as soon as possible and give everyone an answer.”

“I sincerely apologise to Mr. Li Ronghao and to all the other creators who have been troubled by this. As a fellow creator, I deeply understand the importance of copyright awareness and will definitely make this red line clearly defined. Finally, I want to thank Mr. Li Ronghao for creating the song ‘Li Bai,’ which gave me strength and warmth. Thank you, Mr. Li, and I apologise again.”

Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang made a rare social media update recently, revealing that she had just undergone a major surgery and is now concentrating on recuperation.

Sharing about her health situation on 31 August, she wrote, “A while ago, I underwent a major surgery and am currently recuperating. My doctor originally recommended planning it last year, but I was so focused on my concerts and my current work that I put it on hold. This year, for my long-term health, I decided to adjust my priorities and put my health first.”

“The doctor said everything went smoothly and the results were reassuring, and that all I need to do now is rest and recover,” she added.

Rainie admitted that while it was no small matter, she tried to remain calm. She shared that her mother and husband, Li Ronghao, were there for her throughout the process, allowing her to relax.

“I promised you that my new album would be released in the second half of this year, and nothing will change that promise. I completed all the necessary preparations before the surgery. I hope my work will continue to be a daily companion for you, as it always has been. But please be patient…”

Rainie playfully reminded people not to be too surprised if they bump into her in their daily lives, adding, “That doesn’t mean I’m fully recovered, but I’m slowly getting back to my familiar state and rhythm.”

In response to questions about her health, Rainie’s agency said, “Thank you for your concern. Rainie Yang is currently recovering, but it will take some time to slowly return to her work rhythm. But everything is fine, please be rest assured.”

Rainie Yang recently decided to share the first photo from her wedding with Li Ronghao, which turned out to have been held in February last year.

On 18 February, the Taiwanese singer, who married the mainland singer-songwriter in 2019, posted a photo of her and Li in their wedding attire, though with their backs to the camera.

“1st wedding anniversary,” she captioned the photo.

It is noted that Rainie has always been low-key about her relationship with Li, and only occasionally shares things they do for each other on social media.

The couple surprised many by registering their marriage in 2019 and only shared the proposal video a year later.

Fans were surprised over the fact that the wedding had been held without their knowledge, and speculated that the reception was held in Thailand, after a netizen spotted Li, Jing Boran and Liu Wen in Bangkok last year.

Others said that the spiral staircase in the photo looks similar to the ones they have at a wedding venue called AUBE in Bangkok.

Li Ronghao and Rainie Yang proved that they are still the sweetest couple to ever exist in the Chinese music industry, as the latter recently decided to sing praises for her husband during her concert in Taipei.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the singer, who was performing at the Taipei Arena on 18 June, shared with her fans that her mainland singer-songwriter husband had a show in Xi’an the day before her show, but woke up early in the morning to catch the plane so that he could be at her concert early.

“I am very happy to see him here. Having him see it from the beginning is actually very important to me,” she said, adding that she even tried to comfort herself thinking that there would be a possibility that Li would be late to the show due to flight delays and whatnot.

She then went on to perform Li’s song, “The Dark Plum Sauce”, which made her husband laugh when she accidentally forgot the words at the end.

Rainie then shyly confessed, “I want to say that meeting him in my life is my greatest happiness,” much to her husband’s delight.

Rainie and Li tied the knot back in 2019, four years after they started dating.

Li Ronghao recently announced that he will be embarking on a world tour again this year.

The Chinese singer-songwriter first hinted about the good news on Weibo, saying that he has an important announcement to make.

However, his post only got fans excited with the expectation that he is going to announce that he will be welcoming a child, which he quickly denied.

At 12pm on 3 February, Li finally revealed that he will be back to holding a concert tour again, entitled “Free Soul World Tour”, captioning it, “I have been waiting so long that I want to cry.”

Wife Rainie Yang also took to Instagram Story to share the good news with a poster of the tour.

This will be Li’s first world tour after three years since his “Young and Promising” tour in 2019. It is also the first one since he released his new album, “Free Soul” in December last year.

Celebrity couple Li Ronghao and Rainie Yang recently shared a rare photo of the two of them together on Lunar New Year as a treat to their fans.

Based on Rainie’s similar post on Instagram, it looks like the couple celebrated the New Year in Beijing, as the singer thanked her grandmother for preparing the feast table for the Lunar New Year celebration.

Li Ronghao has recently dismissed rumours that he has cheated on wife Rainie Yang with another woman.

It was previously rumoured that Li, who has spent more time away from his wife due to their hectic schedules, has cheated on her with fellow singer Jike Junyi, and that the couple will be divorcing soon.

In response to the said rumour, Li posted his statement on Weibo, that read, “Even during this moment of the pandemic, there are still people who are saying nonsense and making up rumours about me. Don’t worry. The evidence has been collected and the lawyer is handling it.”

Rainie also reposted Li’s statement, and said that she is not angry at all as the whole thing was too made up that nobody would believe it.

As for Jike, who was accused of being the third party, the singer took to social media with a simple post that read, “False.”

Rainie and Li have been married since 2019. However, with Rainie focusing more on her career in Taiwan and Li in mainland China, coupled with the pandemic making it even more difficult for them to meet, the couple admitted that they were not able to spend a lot of time together for the past three years.

Taiwanese singer A-Mei recently surprised many by announcing that she has a new song.

As reported on Epoch Times, the singer shared the good news on social media on 6 December with a promotional image of her and mainland singer-songwriter Li Ronghao – simultaneously revealing that it is a collaboration with the said singer.

“New song is coming,” she captioned the said photo.

Written and composed by Li, the song, titled “Equivalence Relation”, was finally launched on 8 December.

It is a ballad that tells the story of two former lovers who find the difficulties in becoming friends after ending their relationship.

It is noted that it has been four years since A-Mei last released a full album, with her last album being the 2017’s “Story Thief”.

Taiwanese star Jay Chou is among the performers who have decided to move their concert to a different date.

Super Junior’s new concert date in KL, following its recent postponement, has yet to be confirmed.

Seventeen has cancelled their February and March concerts.

While most celebrities only cancelled their shows around mainland China and Hong Kong, Chinese singer Li Ronghao recently revealed that he has decided to postpone all of his shows in Malaysia and Europe indefinitely.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer recently released an official statement on social media, saying that his shows in Kuala Lumpur, Milan, London, and Paris will not go on as scheduled.

He wrote, “I am sorry, fans in Kuala Lumpur, London, Paris, and Milan. Due to the global spread of the epidemic, I decided to avoid increasing the risk of infection from a mass gathering for the sake of everyone’s health and safety. It is regrettable that I have to postpone all concerts in Malaysia and Europe.”

“I know that a lot of you have booked hotels and flights, but I’m really sorry. Please be assured that the moment that the epidemic passes, I will immediately come over and perform for you. I give you my word,” he added.

Li was originally scheduled to perform in Malaysia this 15 February, followed by a concert in London on the 19th, in Paris on the 21st, and Milan soon after.

Aside from Li, singer Rene Liu also announced that she will be postponing her 14 March and 28 March shows in Wuxi and Quanzhou.
