Kris Bernal and husband Perry Choi recently revealed that they are having a baby girl.

The couple shared the good news via YouTube live, where they shared moments from their recent gender reveal party.

This include a fight between two inflatable dinosaurs in pink and blue – the fight ending with the pink T-rex defeating the blue one, signalling that the couple are having a baby girl.

They then released pink smoke bombs to confirm the news.

Said Kris, she was happy to be pregnant with a daughter, though admitted that it was unexpected as she kept assuming she would be having a baby boy.

“It really is an answered prayer. I want a girl because I want to dress her up. But I also wanted a boy because I want my nephews to have another to play with. But since they are all boys, there is a girl now,” she said.

This will be the first baby for Kris and Perry, who tied the knot in September 2021.

The actress shared the good news on social media with a fake poster titled “When Two Become Three: A Comedic Documentary”, in which she and husband Perry Choi can be seen holding an ultrasound photo as their bed is filled with parenting books, toys, and snacks.

“Unrated and Unprotected” could also be read in the image.

“It happened,” she posted in the caption. “We weren’t really “trying” but we were blessed with pregnancy! I can still remember I’ve felt a rush of different emotions when the test showed two lines. I already had suspicion weeks prior to finding out the good news but I was able to confirm it when something happened…”

In another post, she shared her thoughts on morning sickness and the pregnancy itself, saying that she felt like a stranger in her own body.

“It’s a miracle that I was able to keep up appearances at work and with friends without anyone knowing what was going on! Good acting, KB!” she added.

Kris also sang praises for husband Perry, whom she married in 2021, writing, “He put up with all my crazy mood swings, reminds me of the dos and don’ts of my doctor, makes sure I take my medicines on time, and the list goes on! That’s right!! I’m emotional right now! I’m crying just thinking about it!”

After previously postponing her wedding due to the pandemic, Kris Bernal finally tied the knot with long-time partner, Perry Choi.

The actress streamed the event live on her YouTube channel, where fans can watch her as she walked down the aisle at the St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish in Makati City on her special day in a Mak Tumang gown.

“My wedding day was as magical as the ones that I watch and read while growing up,” she posted on social media. “I felt like I was in a fairytale book. It’s a dream come true.”

As for her choice of sunflowers decorating the venue, she wrote, “Sunflower is my top most favourite flower. It symbolises unwavering faith and unconditional love. It reminds me of the face of the sun that sends pure joy and positive vibes to me.”

It is noted that Kris was suppose to walk down the aisle with Perry in June, but had to cancel the wedding due to the increase number of COVID cases.

On 6 July, the actress took to Instagram to share the updates on her situation, writing, “I just want to commend GRAB PH, for how they handled the incident. Just a few minutes after my posts, Grab has gotten in touch with me and has urgently conducted an investigation into the fraud delivery bookings. They checked in on the delivery partners and ensured that they were compensated for this incident.”

“The riders were not charged but instead were reimbursed. Grab has already blocked the number. So far, no more fake Grab bookings. Though, two fake bookings (No longer from Grab) by the same culprit came last Sunday.”

It was back on 4 July that Kris went on social media to reveal that she has been a victim of a prank by someone who decided to make a total of 23 food orders to be sent to her house.

She expressed, “I have no idea who did this and I can’t remember any incident that triggered this to happen. All I know is I didn’t do anything wrong to someone for me to deserve this kind of treatment. What saddens me the most is I’m not the only one affected in this situation but also the Grab drivers who were victims of the fake deliveries.”

“I really hope that there was even a bit of sympathy to the riders. They are the main victims here. I hope the person who did this will feel a bit of conscience,” Kris added.

The actress also shared the number of the person who made the orders – a person who used the name Jen Jen Manalo. However, Kris expressed scepticism as to whether the culprit would be arrested.
