Sexy Zone’s Kento Nakajima is set to work alongside Shinichi Tsutsumi in the upcoming suspense movie, “Omae no Tsumi o Jihaku Shiro” (also known as “Confess Your Sins”).

As reported on Eiga, the two stars will be playing father and son Koji and Seijiro Uda in the upcoming project, which will be an adaptation of Yuichi Shinpo’s 2019 novel of the same name.

It marks the first collaboration between the two stars.

The original novel revolves around the son of a ruthless political family, who begins to doubt his father’s methods in the wake of a kidnapping case.

Said Kento, “This movie is unpredictable and thrilling, and you can’t help but hold your breath. This will be my first time working with Mr. Tsutsumi, and I will try not to lose to the power that his character exudes.”

On the other hand, Shinichi stated that he was hesitant at first upon finding out that he will play a big politician, but decided to accept the role after much discussion with the director.

“Although this is a social drama, it also has elements of suspense and can be enjoyed as entertainment. Please give us your support,” he added.

The upcoming movie is set to release in October 2023.
