Buddha Beat, Coming Up Roses part of ASEAN Music Showcase Festival lineup

Debuting online this month is the inaugural ASEAN Music Showcase (AMS)
Festival, featuring artistes from five Southeast Asian countries.

Here are the details for the virtual music showcase:
Dates: 19 & 20 September (Saturday & Sunday)
Time: 1pm onwards
Streaming links: (Facebook Live) | (YouTube Live)

A total of 20 artistes, four each from the five participating countries, will
be performing. The performances will be streamed live online for music fans
from across the globe to enjoy.

The full lineup is as below (arranged by country):
Singapore – Coming Up

Malaysia – Buddha Beat, Bayangan,
Golden Mammoth, mutesite
Philippines – Pikoy, Cheats, Uprising Records
Artists, August Wahh

Indonesia – Tanayu, bangkutaman, Rangkai, Oslo Ibrahim

So far only an image of the Indonesian lineup has been shared on
ASEAN Music Showcase Festival’s Facebook.

The lineup is handpicked by the festival’s founding members: Singapore’s
SGMUSO; Thailand’s Bangkok Music City co-founded by Fungjai Co., Ltd. and
NYLON Thailand; Malaysia’s City ROARS! Festival; Indonesia’s SRM; and the
Philippines’ The Rest Is Noise PH.

Also part of the inaugural AMS is a private virtual meet with not only some of
the biggest and most promising music business professionals in the world, but
also up-and-coming and established artistes in Asia.

The City ROARS! Festival is back for another year!

With its hugely successful debut last year, the festival returns with a new and fresh line-up guaranteed to satisfy all tastes in music.

The festival was created with the goal of promoting independent music and arts all across Asia.

This year, almost two dozen artists from Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Japan will be performing. It’s certainly going to be a jam-packed evening!

Here are the details you’ll need to know:

Date: 4 Jan 2020 (Saturday)

Time: 1pm to 11pm

Venue: The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (Outdoor Lawn, Pentas 1, Pentas 2 and Indicine)

The line-up includes MC Bee, Druma, FAZZ and many more, so no matter what kind of music you like, there’s something for you. You might even discover your new favourite band!

Presale tickets are available online for RM210 until today, or RM950 for a group of five. If you want to get tickets on the day of the event itself, you’ll have to buy door sale tickets at the KLPAC Box Office for RM250.

The schedule has yet to be released, but last year’s festival featured side activities like an art bazaar, unique installations, workshops and special performances, so this year should follow suit.

Remember to bring your ID to verify your age – you have to be 18 or above to enter.
