Kis-My-Ft2 member Taisuke Fujigaya was revealed to have been involved in a traffic accident while driving in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.
The incident, which only came to light on 4 November, happened on 31 October, when Fujigaya’s car collided with a moving vehicle as he entered National Route 246 from a side road in Tamagawa, Setagaya Ward.
No one was injured.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department is investigating it as a property damage accident.
Following the incident, Fujigaya updated his paid-membership blog to apologise for the accident.
In his post, he acknowledged the incident, writing, “As reported in the news, I caused a traffic accident due to my carelessness. Fortunately, no one was injured, and the police responded promptly after the incident.”
“I sincerely and deeply apologise for causing considerable inconvenience to the other party involved.”
