Sonia Sui recently dismissed reports that her husband, Tony Hsieh, is embroiled in a rent dispute involving a Korean barbecue restaurant.
The Taiwanese actress, who attended an endorsement event on 2 October, told the media that there was no such thing and that her husband has had no business or management relationship with the restaurant since 2025.
“You can find out. I don’t know what to say,” she said.
As for her husband’s earlier statement that he is saddened that Sonia was unfairly blamed over the issue, the actress said that since it has nothing to do with her, her mood is completely unaffected.
“Because it really has nothing to do with us. It’s a matter for a group of people, and they have to find their own solution. We are really outsiders,” she added.
Sonia believes that she already has enough on her mind with the important people in her life, including her parents, children and close friends.
“Other people are really not that important, and they don’t care about you, so why should I let them affect me?” she added.
