After a belated wedding ceremony in France back in June, Mario Ho and mainland Chinese supermodel Ming Xi finally held their wedding banquet on 28 September.
The banquet was held at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau for relatives and friends who were unable to attend their French wedding at a French chateau. Guests included members of the other three branches of the Ho family, such as Pansy Ho, Daisy Ho and Josie Ho, as well as prominent political and business figures and celebrities.
Hong Kong, mainland Chinese and Taiwanese stars including Liza Wang, Leo Ku, Huang Xiaoming, Joe Chen and Aaron Kwok’s wife Moka Fang were also among the guests.

Mario and Ming Xi registered their marriage in 2019. That same year, they welcomed their son, Ronaldo Ho, the first grandson of the family. They welcomed a daughter, Romee, in 2021. One reported reason for their wedding delay was that they wanted to observe a period of mourning following the death of Mario’s father, casino tycoon Stanley Ho.
In his speech, Mario joked about their height difference, saying, “Although I’m half a head shorter than her, I still pursued Ming Xi. In the end, we fell in love, got married, had children, and now we’re here today witnessing this wedding. I’m truly very grateful to all of you.”

He also promised his in-laws that he would “love and protect her in this life, the next life, and the life after that.”
Meanwhile, Ming Xi also promised to build a good life with Mario, saying they would “continue to be filial to our parents. We love you.”
