Arthur Chen and Sun Qian have recently dismissed rumours that the two of them are now an item.
The two actors, who played a married couple in the hit period drama “Love Story in the 1970s,” were revealed to have sparked romance rumours just for a fact that they have supposedly shared a van.
It all started when netizens noticed that a Mercedes Benz minivan, which was supposed to be Arthur’s personal vehicle, was seen being used by Sun Qian during the filming of her new drama, “Love Moon” in June.
Netizens also stated that the van had the same license plate and driver, sparking rumours that the two are now dating.
In response to the rumours, Sun’s studio released two short posts on social media, the first reading, “Purely a rumour. Please do not disturb. Hard at work.”
The other read in a slightly irate tone, stating, “Enough things to worry about. Don’t come and add to them.”
Meanwhile, Arthur’s team said, “Complete nonsense. What a load of rubbish.”
Afterwards, many netizens pointed out that the vehicle in question was actually a commercial vehicle from the same rental company.
