Lee Yi-chieh recently revealed that she is now pregnant with her first child.
The actress shared the good news on social media on Taiwan’s Father’s Day, along with several photos of her and photographer husband Tseng Wei-yu at a prenatal checkup.
She wrote, “Is it finally my turn? Dear Little Iron Egg, we are all looking forward to your arrival.”
Lee revealed that it is a double celebration for the family, as her sister-in-law is also pregnant and will be giving birth in just over a month.
“When my father was still around, my brother and I both really hoped to give him a grandchild. Although my father is no longer here, he will always be in my heart. And I guess he is very happy right now. Maybe he is laughing and having a drink with new friends.”
She also wished her husband and her brother a Happy Father’s Day, adding, “Thank you for taking care of us two very good-natured pregnant women.”
