Annie Chen and George Hu have recently welcomed their first child, three years into their marriage.
The news was shared by the Taiwanese model-actress on social media on the day of George’s 44th birthday, with a photo of her and the actor holding their baby’s tiny feet.
She writes, “I did it! Ten months of nurturing a new life. Thank you to my body for accompanying me safely and smoothly bringing our baby into this world.”
“From now on, our family has a new and beautiful melody. New dad is also a doting father to his daughter. The most precious gift of my life is for you. We love you. Happy birthday, Daddy,” she added.
Meanwhile, George posted a similar photo on his Instagram and expressed, “On my birthday, I received the one gift in my life that can never be surpassed or replaced. We’ve always believed in letting nature take its course and letting things happen naturally. So when we unexpectedly received the news that you were on your way, we were overjoyed beyond words.”
“We’ll lose a lot of sleep in the years ahead, but we’ll love you with ten times more hugs and smiles. For the next 18 years, I’ll do my best to clear my calendar so I can be by your side.”
He also thanked Annie for the gift, and added, “From here onwards, it’s my turn to take care of the both of you.”
