Tao Xinran has recently dismissed rumours that she has a new man in her life.
As reported on NetEase, tabloids previously reported that the actress has quietly entered into a new relationship and is about to officially announce her not-available status. Speculations then began to form regarding this supposed new romance, prompting Tao to go on social media to deny it.
On 15 July, the “Legend of Zhen Huan” star screen-shot the fabricated reports on her Weibo and wrote, “Fake! Single! There’s unlikely to be any good news anytime soon, things are great right now!”
Tao, who had been married to actor He Jianze, announced their divorce back in March 2025.
She revealed that they had actually been separated for a while, but decided to keep mum to protect their daughter. However, she assured that the separation was mutual and was not caused by any third party.
“There is no melodramatic plot. Just you, me and the regret of drifting apart,” she posted.
