Zhang Xinyu recently revealed that she had to cancel work due to health reasons, and is hoping to get well before her stage play on 5 February.
The actress took to Weibo to share her current condition, and posted several photos of her in hospital, including a photo of a thermometer showing her temperature exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.
She later said that she has discovered the problem with her health, saying, “My weight used to fluctuate between 106-110 lbs. Although I looked a little chubby on camera, my condition was good, and I rarely got sick. In the past few months, my weight has dropped to around 100 lbs, and I get sick with a fever at the drop of a hat.”
“I’ve had a fever three times in the last two months. With such a small loss of fat, my physical constitution is completely different,” she said.
Zhang Xinyu is nearly 170cm tall, and being only 100 pounds meant that it is not a healthy weight.
