It was reported that BLACKPINK’s Lisa is set to make her sophomore return to acting through Netflix’s upcoming action film, “Extraction: Tigo”.
The Thai singer will be working alongside Ma Dong-seok and Lee Jin-wook in the movie, and that the project is part of the “Extraction” universe created by stunt coordinator-turned-filmmaker, Sam Hargrave.
However, the movie reportedly will be independent from the Chris Hemsworth-starrer.
The film, to be helmed by Lee Sang-yong (“The Roundup”), will have Ma playing a mercenary on a mission to save a kidnapped colleague. No news as to what character Lisa will play.
Production is scheduled to begin mid-October.
Lisa previously won praises for her performance in the third season of HBO series, “The White Lotus”.
