Kenshin Kamimura has been found guilty by a Hong Kong court of the indecent assault against his interpreter.

The 26-year-old singer, who is the former member of One N’ Only, was fined HKD 15,000 for his indecency, with Magistrate Peter Yu reprimanding the singer for his disrespect towards women, saying, “Such behaviour should be condemned.”

However, he stated that Kenshin has already paid a huge price after being forced from his company and forced to leave his group.

Kenshin, who pleaded not guilty back in April, chose not to testify during the trial back in July.

His victim, who was only identified as X, revealed to the court that she was hired to translate during a fan meeting in Hong Kong back in March.

During a celebratory dinner following the event, she said that Kenshin moved to sit beside her and started to brush and pat her thighs, and asked to visit the bathroom together. She also stated that the singer blocked her path when she tried to move away to get some tea, and asked her to go outside.

However, when she returned to her seat, she stated that Kenshin came back and apologised, asking her to forget what had happened. However, he then repeated similar behaviour again soon after.

On the other hand, Kenshin’s lawyer defended the singer, saying that alcohol might have affected his judgement.
