Malaysian Samba Rock star Darkkey Nagaraja is set to hold his solo concert this coming August.

The concert, “I Am Darkkey: King of Samba Rock Concert”, organised by the Melaka Maju Peoples Charity Club (MMPCC) in collaboration with Patahati Universe, Panggung Bangsawan Melaka and Tourism Melaka, will be held at the Panggung Bangsawan Melaka on 2 August.

Said MMPCC president, T Manimaran, “The concert is part of the efforts of this NGO, which has been active since 2019 and is headquartered in Melaka, to raise funds to implement its welfare programmes such as helping the poor, orphans and for educational purposes.”

“The idea to organise the I Am Darkkey: King of Samba Rock concert to raise funds for charity work, as well as to honour local Tamil artistes and music was inspired by Darkkey’s own struggle and success,” he added.

It was also revealed that the concert will be featuring special performances from Santesh and Zubir Khan.
