Although she is now busy with her producing job, Angelica Lee (Lee Sinje) recently assured that she is not retiring from acting anytime soon.
The actress, who was in Hong Kong for the HKIFF Industry Project Market, said that she is very much still an actress, when asked by the media, but that she can’t do both producing and acting at the same time.
“I can only choose one or the other because actors have to be in the best condition to be on camera, especially if the role is very heavy. If I were to be a producer, I would not be able to handle it,” she said.
Angelica added that as long as there is a good script and the right timing, she would definitely say yes to acting again.
“The Eye” star also admitted to have often wondered if she will have the opportunity to star in a Hong Kong film again.
“Some people still call me the ‘ghost queen’. But it all depends on the timing. Whether in front of the camera or behind the camera, everyone is welcome to look for me,” she added.
