The South Korean hit, “Marry My Husband” is set to have a Japanese adaptation soon.

As reported on News1, production company Studio Dragon shared the news on 14 February, saying, “We are in the planning stage for the Japanese version of ‘Marry My Husband’. Detailed casting and schedule have not yet been determined.”

However, the studio stressed that the Japanese version is not a remake of the Korean drama, but will be based on the original webtoon by Sung So-jak.

The Korean TV series stars Park Min-young as a cancer patient who finds herself being given a second chance in life after she was accidentally murdered by her cheating husband.

The drama co-stars Na In-woo, Lee Yi-kyung and Song Ha-yoon among others.
