Angel Chiang couldn’t help but feel guilty for not being able to fly to Japan to begin filming “Forensic Heroes 6” due to her illness.
On 16 January, the TVB actress took to social media to share a photo of her in hospital, and revealed that she was hit with a pain the night before she was supposed to fly, and had to go to the hospital right away.
“[I] found out that I had appendicitis and needed to be hospitalised immediately and undergo surgery. This made me cry in panic,” she said.
The actress stated that her hospitalisation brought an issue to the teams of “Forensic Heroes 6” as well as her other drama, “Anti-Crime Heroes”.
“I am really sorry for the inconvenience and for keeping my colleagues behind the scene busy with the situation. Although it was a minor surgery, there is no script that could have helped prepare me for the helplessness I felt when I was pushed to the operating room. Fear and worry are something you can’t experience in a drama,” she added.
She also reminded her followers to not hide one’s illness or avoid medical treatment.
